WHO SPEAKS FOR NATURE?
YOU DO!
As we fight to address an overwhelming array of environmental and social injustice, we constantly come up against the same challenge – power is in the wrong hands. Those most affected by harmful decisions have little to no ‘say’ in making them. Their voices are ignored, or they have no voice at all.

“Rights of Nature”
The Rights of Nature movement is dismantling our biggest obstacle to change by shifting power to communities, to those directly connected to the land, and by giving a voice to Nature. It provides a template for recognizing legal rights for Nature as a living entity that can be enacted at the local, national, tribal and international levels. It requires us to restore our connection with Nature and each other.
The Rights of Nature movement borrows from indigenous and traditional cultures to address ecological and social crises, such as global warming and racism. Recognizing the rights of Nature means recognizing the right of all living beings. Living in harmony with a living planet requires that we also live in harmony with each other.
So how do we do it?
Join activists from across the globe on Saturday, April 24th, 2021 for a free, online conference about the Rights of Nature movement – what it is, how it’s implemented, how it intersects with other environmental and social movements, and how it creates the fundamental change needed to restore balance with Nature and each other.
Registration is free. Reserve your spot here.
